He turns a corner—and suddenly spots someone familiar near a shelf, organizing cans. It’s Lily, in a store uniform. She looks up and smiles.
LILY:
Jake? Hey! I didn’t expect to see you here.
JAKE:
Oh, hey Lily!
Are you… working here?
LILY:
Yup. Wednesdays and Fridays. What about you?
JAKE:
I was heading home from the chess club—first day.
LILY:
Oh yeah, I remember you mentioned that! How was it?
