Script: School Hallway

The bell rings. Students rush around, talking and laughing on their way to class. Jake, a shy but friendly boy, stands in the hallway near his classroom door, looking a little lost. A girl, about his age, notices him and walks over.

Girl (smiling warmly): “Hey, you look like you’re new here. You can sit here if you want.”

Jake (surprised but grateful): “Oh, thanks. I appreciate it. I’m Jake, Jake Harris.”

Girl (nodding, still smiling): “Nice to meet you, Jake. I’m Lillian Jones . You can call me Lily.”

Lily walks over and sits at her desk. Jake sits next to her. The classroom starts to fill up, and other students walk in, but there’s a friendly air between them.

Lily (curious): “So, where did you move from?”

Jake (a little shy but opening up): “I’m from Oakridge. It’s… a pretty small town. You?”

チャイムが鳴る。生徒たちが話したり笑ったりしながら教室へ急ぐ。ジェイクは内気だが人懐っこい雰囲気の少年で、自分の教室のドアの近くに立ち、少し戸惑った様子を見せている。同じくらいの年頃の女の子がそれに気づき、彼の方へ歩み寄る。

女の子（にこやかに）：「ねえ、ここ初めてでしょ？よかったらここに座っていいよ。」

ジェイク（驚きつつも感謝して）：「あ、ありがとう。助かるよ。僕、ジェイク。ジェイク・ハリスっていうんだ。」

女の子（うなずきながら微笑んで）：「よろしくね、ジェイク。私はリリアン・ジョーンズ。リリーって呼んでね。」

リリーは歩いていって自分の席に座る。ジェイクはその隣に座る。教室には次々と生徒たちが入ってくるが、二人の間にはフレンドリーな雰囲気がある。

リリー（興味津々に）：「で、どこから引っ越してきたの？」

ジェイク（少し恥ずかしそうにしながらも話し始める）：「オークリッジってところから来たんだ。えっと……けっこう小さな町だよ。君は？」
